Hi,
we are testing Btrfs RAID10 on a non-production PVE node with 6× KIOXIA CM7-R NVMe.
On 7.0.14-19-pve we see roughly:
RAW single NVMe: ~6.7 GiB/s write
Btrfs SINGLE + NOCOW: ~6.7 GiB/s
Btrfs RAID10 + NOCOW: ~2.3 GiB/s
Btrfs RAID10 + CoW: ~2.1 GiB/s
ftrace confirms that SINGLE+NOCOW reaches the direct-I/O path, while RAID10 does not (iomap_dio_rw_begin = 0).
Is there already a Proxmox test/development branch based on Linux 7.3 that we could try, or is a newer 7.2/7.3 opt-in kernel planned soon?
Thanks.
