when using a bond like this:

iface bond0 inet manual
        slaves enp8s0f0 enp8s0f1
        bond_miimon 100
        bond_mode 802.3ad
        bond_xmit_hash_policy layer2+3

should bridge_stp be set to on for vmbr0?

No, the bond is a single dev and so you should not get any loops on the bridge.
