Hi,

I just noticed, that I have the proxmox-kernel and the default debian kernel installed on my machine. Is that normal?

Bash:
root@pve01 ~ # apt list --installed | grep -E 'linux-image|proxmox-kernel'

WARNING: apt does not have a stable CLI interface. Use with caution in scripts.

root@pve01 ~ #

Can I maybe safely remove the linux-kernel?

I don't have any linux-image packages installed if that answers your question. Something like this should get rid of them
Bash:
apt autopurge "linux-image*"
