I downloaded the VE 4.2 installer from here and installed if from scratch; no issues but after I remove the DVD and reboot I get:
BootDevice Not Found
Please install an poerating system on your hard disk.
Hard Disk - (3F0)
F2 System Diagnostics, etc...
It's an HP laptop with 64-bit CPU 8 GB RAM. I burned the iso to a DVD and booted it off a USB dvd drive.
I can successfully (and repeatedly) install Debian 8.5 on this same machine.
I suspect it may have to do with how ProxMox is creating the partitions but I'm learning this so I'm not sure.
I will be happy to provide more info - for some info I may have to run the installer again.
