Hi,
I'm using the latest and greatest Proxmox, 7.1-12
I have a 500GB SSD and a 4 x 18TB HDD in a Lenovo TS140 with 32GB ECC ram.
My intention is to run OMV as my NAS with native access to the HD using pass thorough.
I have configured PCI passthrough by enabling VT-d, the stuff described in https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Pci_passthrough and https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Passthrough_Physical_Disk_to_Virtual_Machine_(VM).
I have uploaded the OMV ISO into Proxmox. Allocated 2 cores and 16GB to OMV.
I will be using SnapRAID and MergerFS. Backups will be on individual 8TB external USB drives.
I may just leave it as a JBOD with no resilience or perhaps just Raid Z, I haven't decided yet.
It boots up fine to the virtual installation media, I set the host name etc in OMV.
I remove the ISO from the boot sequence.
But whatever I do, the VM boots into the virtual installation media.
I don't get it - any one help?
