Boot records with ZFS installed only on first two disks?

I recently installed PM with ZFS RAID on LSI controller with 12 disks.
While debugging other problems (it works now) I noticed that PM installed BIOS boot / MBR and EFI boot partition (which I think is irrelevant anyway) only on first two disks. Is that planned / desired installers behavior?
