Hi all.

I'd like to maximize throughput while having link redundancy. My servers have 4 NICs, so I thought to bond all of 'em and send a couple on one switch and the other couple to another switch.

But some questions arise.
1) should I create one bond (of 4 interfaces) or 3 bonds (bond0 for eth0 and eth2 to switch 1, bond1 of eth1 and eth3 to switch 2, then bond2 of bond0 and bond1) ?
2) is it better to have the switches linked or not?
3) which bond method is recommended?

I'm not doing real HA (no HW fencing, yet) but I'd really like to have no-SPOF wherever possible.

Tks.
