Hey guys,
I have v2.2 on a CD (also tried USB).
No matter what embedded devices I disable in BIOS (which is at latest version), and no matter what options I play with (debug vga=normal acpi=off apic=off), it does the init.d and whatnot, then blanks the screen and says:
Ideas?

Previous OS was Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V, fully updated et al.
Dell XPS 630i
8GB RAM (all good according to an overnight memtest86+)
Hard drives are fine
ATI Radeon HD 4850 (fine in Windows)
Intel Core 2 Quad
