Black screen with spice- does it work with ubuntu 18.04?

All I can get is a black screen if I try to use splice with an Android client. I have read threads where the older versions of ubunta did not work. What about 18.04?. If no what about rdp and if so any setup docs for it?

By trial and error I found the normal bios does not work with spice. Switching to UEFI fixed the issue instantly. Both PC and Android client (

Opaque oVirt ) work fine now.

I am a new user just trying to figure it all out...
