Whenever I attempt to install Proxmox VE 1.8 on my old computer I will get a black screen with a blinking marker right after the installation have loaded. I tried booting with the debug option but it only resulted in the system being completely unresponsive (No screen signal and no light in keyboard and mouse.). It crashes so fast that I am unable to read the output, but I managed to see something with nouveau and thought It might be that causing the problem (At least when I run the non-debug installation). Can I somehow force the installation disk to boot with a VESA driver instead of nouveau?
Proxmox VE 1.7 and 1.6 does also cause this problem.
My hardware:
C2D E6600 2.4Ghz (Virtualization is enabled.)
4Gb RAM
P5ql motherboard
Some old generic 320Gb SATA 2 seagate HDD.
Nvidia 9800gtx+ connected to my screen with DVI.
