Hi, I recently successfully updated Proxmox to version 9. My Proxmox hosts are Dell Optiplex 3080 micro PCs.
Previously, under version 8, I updated the BIOS of the PCs via fwupdmgr. Therefore, I had modified the file /etc/fwupd/daemon.conf with the following contents:
[fwupd]
EspLocation=/boot/efi
This worked perfectly.
I now notice with the new version of Proxmox that I can create and modify the daemon.conf file, but that the changes are not retained.
I get the following error message:
fwupdmgr get updates
WARNING: UEFI ESP partition not detected or configured.
Is it still possible to update the BIOS of a Proxmox 9 host in this way? If not, what are other ways?
Thanks for the help.
