Hi, we have an iscsi storage system already installed. We're using iscsi as lvm group but we would like to use qcow2 files on iscsi storage which only can be used on local storages. What we try is to use iscsi storage as direct lun and then format it, mount to a directory and define the directory as a storage. Then we can use the qcow2 formatted disk images for the kvm machines.

Is this the best (or only) method to use or anybody using any other methods for qcow2 files on an iscsi storage?

Thanks
Gokalp
