Hi all. I have gotten a few recommendations on what may be the best way to set up Proxmox for our needs, but would love to hear what others may think.

Currently we have one server that is running centos 5 with php, apache, mysql and postfix email.

Our new server (transferring old to new) I was hoping to set things up in a logical and best optimized way for performance and speed. Although in the beginning we will still be using one server to run all these applications, we are eventually going to buy another dedicated server most likely for the mysql.

We are currently running 10-12 websites that are php and mysql robust/hogs. We are looking to run hopefully a lot more websites off this machine. This server is only used for websites which also runs in https modes upon checkouts...and we run no other applications on it.

On the new server we have 12gb of memory, raid 10 with around 500gb disk space, 2 nics out.

Can someone please suggest how they would set up Proxmox and allocations of memory, disc space, etc. that would most suite my needs listed above? Since I am so new to Proxmox I would love to hear other suggestions that will give me the most out of what I currently have.

Thanks! Daniel
