Hello!
i have the proxmox-OS and most VMs stored on an ZFS-Pool which will be untouched for this question.
But i also have another Pool with some datasets which are used by proxmox-VE for backups and also LXC & VM images.
I want to replace the second ZFS pool of three disks with a new pool of four disks. To make the transition easier i have an unused old server stand by to use ZFS-send to transmit the data.
What would be the most uncomplicated scenario to migrate the zfs pools?
Unfortunately i am not an ZFS professional. So i dont know for example if there is a reliable method to "just copy" a complete pool, without re creating every dataset on the new pool.
An additional requirement: I want to use ZFS encryption on the whole new pool (not just the datasets).
Thank you in advance for any hints!
