Can we migrate .vmdk files to raw format or the one which is supported by proxmox?

Hi Guys,

I have a machine setup in Vmware ESxi 5 and I need to migrate that to Proxmox? is it possible? Could someone guide me the steps? Also what file format would you suggest on proxmox
