Best practice for PVE regarding swappiness

Hello,

I have seen some articles that recommend to configure the swappiness to 10 or even 0:

Is there a general recommendation what value to use?
I am using a mix of Linux containers and Windows VMs having no special purpose (no dedicated database server, e.g.).

Hi,

there is a multitude of reasons why swap is used even if there is plenty of RAM available. It is not just "emergency" memory. See this interesting article [0] which explains this quite well.
