Best GPU Passthrough Setup for Light Games Like Stardew Valley?

I’m experimenting with GPU passthrough on Proxmox and wondering if anyone here is running lightweight games like Stardew Valley in a Windows VM.


I don’t need ultra performance — just smooth 1080p gameplay without stutter.
Looking for advice on:

• Best low-power GPU for passthrough
• Driver stability (especially with AMD vs Nvidia)
• Any tweaks needed to reduce latency/input lag
• Should I even bother with passthrough for games this light?

Would love to hear your setups and experience — especially if you're doing casual gaming on a homelab.
