you can set up your 2TB disk with either a normal filesystem, ZFS or LVM. Then you need to mount (for the filesystem case) or import it (for the ZFS case) and add it as a storage to your PVE node. To do that, go to

Datacenter > Storage > Add, select the correct kind of storage (directory for the filesystem case) and select content images and whatever other content types you want to store on that drive.
