Beginner steps with HA, Ceph, Networks

Hello,

I'm a Proxmox beginner (not necessarily networking or Linux) wanting to design HA and Ceph for max reliability but i'm a little overwhelmed.

My worry is that with default setup (everything in one LAN), server sync and ceph updates will interfere with VM traffic if all on the same LAN. I'm aiming for several RDP hosts (up to 20)

Basically, I have 2 very powerful nodes, each have 2-port GigE and 2-port 10G NICs and I have a enterprise switch where separating VLANs / L2 traffic is no problem. I made a larger post with hardware details so I can post that upon request.

I also have 2 older nodes (each with one GigE card - more could be added) to help achieve stable HA or distributed storage setup.

If anyone is willing to unpack this, ask more questions or provide some guidance it'd be greatly appreciated! I'm reading a lot and want to go step by step.

Thanks again,
Kai
