BandwidthD installation (or alternative)

Hello, first post: How can I install bandwidthd or similar tool? I haven't been able to find a package that will install to report my bandwidth consumption? Using bandwidthd on the VM's has been very helpful, but I have nothing to reference against my bandwidth provider etc.

I use this it runs inside a vm using the host node to do graphing, It only works with openvz machines.

I am using exclusively KVM VMs atm... any body have any thoughts?

Yeah I have that installed, but with the Proxmox taking control of the web interface, I'm wondering how to view this information online without having to somehow download the generated PNG's...?

you can use monitoring-software like icinga/nagios but this is perhaps a little bit oversized?!

I installed Munin it worked as i remember but your are required to open ports i didn't like that so i removed it.

You can also use "vnstat" with the php frontend -> http://www.sqweek.com/sqweek/index.php?p=0

Just create an apache vhost which points in the php frontend directory and you get the total traffic of your node.
