[SOLVED] Backup VM error

Hi,

I want ask what often causes VM backup errors to PBS.
The example I experienced was err -5 - input/output errors

Hi,
an input/output error most often means there's an issue with the storage the virtual images reside on. Please check the health of your physical disks, e.g. with smartctl and look at the system log/journal around the time the issue happened for any additional messages.

You have the VMs on shared NAS storage? Or is that just a misleading name?

Noted, i think i know the issue, there's 100Mb link cable for our cascade switch for connection between Node and PBS
