Backup to a USB and then import to a different ProxMox server

I just purchased a refurbished Z440 and would like to move an instance off of the Intel NUC ProxMox to the new ProxMox server on the Z440. Is this even doable?

Yes, no problem. Just keep in mind that stuff like security groups are on datcenter level and not included in the VMs/LXCs backups...while still needed by the VM/LXC when restored.
