Hi, here in my office i have a 4.4 installation with a bunch of VM's created on local lvm storage.

this is my pveperf

root@proxmox:~# pveperf
CPU BOGOMIPS: 146834.40
REGEX/SECOND: 1497245
HD SIZE: 19.56 GB (/dev/dm-0)
BUFFERED READS: 109.87 MB/sec
AVERAGE SEEK TIME: 5.26 ms
FSYNCS/SECOND: 2512.88
DNS EXT: 20.43 ms
DNS INT: 23.38 ms (neen.lan)

i have created a freenas server (physical hp server, dual cpu + 64gb ram), exposed a NFS share and connected to proxmox, for backing up.

my backup log looks like this

so, after 3/4 times at 100mb/s, drops to 5mb/s...

and this happens to all backups, to all VMs.

has anyone a suggestion on what is happening and how can i speed up the process?

thnak you

just to be clear, proxmox is a standalone physical server (dual cpu + 32gb ram) and freenas is a standalone server, both here in my office, connected to gigabit switch
