Backup Synology NAS to PBS

Hallo,

I am looking for a way to backup my Synology NAS to a Proxmox Backup Server.
I found a lot of hints on how to do it the other way, but this in not what I am looking for.

Has anyone an idea on how to use a PBS to backup the NAS?

Unless you copy the NAS data to a VM or CT and then backup that VM or CT, I don't think there is a clean way to achieve what you're asking.
I would heavily recommend staying away from that in any form of production.

PBS is primarily designed for backing up and restoring PVE VMs and containers.
