Backup restore a vm together with snapshots

Hello,
I'm trying to move a VM from one proxmox to another (on a different cluster).
I'm using the backup/restore technique but I want to retain all the snapshots too.
How could I do that ?

You cannot do that with backup & restore, because it backs up only the current state of the VM.

Depending on the storage of you VM, you can either send/receive your ZFS datasets or copy the qcow2 file both in offline mode to ensure a valid state.

No, it's non-standard and heavily relies on what you have and what you want to do.

What storage method do you have on your source and on your destination side?
