Backup restoration taking too long

Hi,

I have proxmox backup server on my network, however, my backup restores are taking too long.

Is there a way I can manually copy the backup on the backup server to a hard drive and then take the hard drive and plug it into a proxmox server and do it that way? My network sucks...

yes, you can restore a backup without a backup-server by using the `proxmox-backup-debug` tool (check the docs here: https://pbs.proxmox.com/docs/technical-overview.html#restore-without-a-running-proxmox-backup-server).
