Backup register image failed: command error: inserting chunk on store failed / EIO: I/O error

I am having an issue using PBS for the first time.

I installed PBS on my Proxmox server and setup a datastore that is on a USB external drive that is shared to the network via Windows. The datastore was created and I made sure to chmod 775 the folder again when done.

I then connected it to Proxmox and setup my first backup. But it is constantly failing. Below is the log:

Hi!
very vague error :/
Could you show me the permissions of the .chunks folder on the datastore (ie does the user `backup` own it)? Also how did you mount it? Are you able to create normal files on it using `touch`?
