Backup Question/Feature Request

I have a fully working Proxmox 1.8 environment for one of our clients, backups and restore all work great. One question however, other than a cron job to move my backups, is there a way to have say multiple days worth of backup? As I have it, my old backups are deleted every night after the day's job is done so I end up with only one day back. I would like to have something that would say back up on the schedule and keep only X amount of days worth of that job.

Please use the 'maxfiles' option (recently added to the we interface)

you need to switch to the pvetest repo to get it.

Other than updating from the pvetest repo can the jobs created from the web interface be edited from the command line to add the maxfiles option?

just create a /etc/vzdump.conf file and set the maxfile options (see 'man vzdump')
