I have a proxmox that do a backup every day on a Qnap iSCSI, it worked very well until ethernet connection crashed.

I restart everything and all the VM's are UP now (and working), but backup not working anymore: everytime a do a backup (even manually) i see a global lock and wait message...

If i search for zdump process I see this:

proxmox:~# ps auxww|grep vzdump

Can i Kill these processes?

Thanks...

Ops, I have some problem on one VM:

command '/usr/lib/qemu-server/vmtar -s '/mnt/pve/QNAP/dump/vzdump-qemu-104-2013_02_11-03_46_12.tmp/qemu-server.conf' 'qemu-server.conf' '/mnt/vzsnap0/images/104/vm-104-disk-1.raw' 'vm-disk-ide0.raw' >/mnt/pve/QNAP/dump/vzdump-qemu-104-2013_02_11-03_46_12.dat' failed: interrupted by signal

I'm on a 2.1

Can I upgrade system safely without restart?

(I read link, it's seems the best is to restart to activate new kernel).
