Hi

In first, my proxmox version: 1.5 with kernel: 2.6.24-10-pve
It's the third time than I have problem near a backup process. i'm not sure that it's related but it's look strange.
The two first time it was a mysql server who don't restart (only the service), now I have a other virtual machine (a qemu one this time) who don't whant to start the machine was locked in backup mode. And something more strange is that my server (the hard one) was turn off. I don't turn it off bye myself and he have a battery supply (one other computer are on the same battery and this one steel working).
So can I have your advice ?

Thanks

Hi,
it seems that your server going down while the backup is running?! In this case it's normal, that the vm is locked - you can simply unlock them.
Perhaps your server has a overheat-problem and shut down hisself? Look for all fans and in the serverlog.

Hi thanks for the answer.
I check the log, and it's look like if I unplug the power cable ... just few minute after the start of the backup.
I will check the hardware to night.
Thanks
