[SOLVED] Backup only some disk of a VM

i have a VM with passthru disk attach to it.
i dont need to backup those disk , but only the VM (config etc...)

Is there a way to do that via PVE nackup or i better use the client on the VM ?

But can exclude disks from backup. But keep in mind that excluded disks might be destroyed while restoring the VM. (PVE will wipe the whole VM with all disks and then create a new one based on the backup...so it will destroy excluded disks but won't create a new one as they aren't part of the backup...see here: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/feature-request-advanced-restore-options-in-gui.109707/)

webUI: YourVM -> Hardware -> Hard Disk (scsiX) -> Edit -> uncheck "Backup" checkbox
