Hello there,
I like to backup my configuration of proxmox and therefore like to save the folder "/etc/pve" as it contains
all the need configuration for the storage and backups, etc.
I zipped this folder and tried to restore it on my backup-system which fails because of missing permissions to write back some files.
Where am I going wrong? Do I have to stop some services before restoring my settings ?
Is there perhaps a better way to make a backup of the configuration ? I even thought of making a image of "/dev/pve/root" with partimage, which fails with an error concerning the bitmap.
Thanks for your help and ideas.
Greetings Marco.
