backup mailnotification template

Hello,

we did start with PVE a couple of month's ago, and all is working really fine. Thank you for this great work on PVE.

We read the manual and searched the wiki, but we culd not find an answer.

Does PVE use a template for mailnotifications after backup process and if so, is it possible to change some small things? It would be helpfull for us, to see the number or name of a vm in the subject of a backup-mailnotification.

There is no template. The mail contents is built using a bunch of string concatenations in Perl in pve-manager.
Adding a loop to append VM IDs or names to the subject should not be too hard. There are already some other loops in that function to get an idea of how it works. However, your changes might become overwritten if you do this manually and then update the package.

thank you for the hint. Well, I don't like to change the PVE-code, even if I have experiences with Perl.
