Hi!

I have a file storage of about 2tb that needs to be accessible from different machines. One way would be to use LXC and bind mount a folder from my zfs storage. But I want backups from this folder too. What's the best way to achieve this?

One could be to set up SMB share and back it up using an external solution. But is there another way using PBS?

I know I can create a machine using virtual disk and make backups of the machine using PBS. But somehow I dislike the virtual disk for this task.

Thx,
Sebastian

I know it's months later, but I am curious about this too. I'd love for PBS to be a single backup solution rather than having to run PBS for the VM/CT backup and something like btrbk for disk storage backup.
