Hello,

In my previous installation, I was able to create a backup job with :
  • node : All
  • storage : an external NFS storage
  • selected VMs to backup : VMs on both nodes of my cluster
It was working fine with Proxmox 6

I replaced my previous installation with a new one (new servers and new cluster), and I am now using prismox 7.
And now when I try to do the same backup job I get a message "skip external VMs" at the begining of the log :
Code:
INFO: starting new backup job: vzdump 1023 1033 1043 1053 1063 1075 1093 1103 1113 1115 2003 --mailnotification always --mailto hakimbouras@gmail.com --compress zstd --storage ovhbackup2 --quiet 1 --notes-template '{{guestname}}' --mode stop
INFO: skip external VMs: 1023, 1033, 1043, 1053, 1063, 1093, 1103, 1113
INFO: Starting Backup of VM 1075 (lxc)

I have no errors in my syslog.

Any idea ?

Thanks,
Hakim

Check your tasks at the bottom; there should be a backup job task for each of the nodes at the scheduled time.
Alternatively look at the task history for each node.
Basically: Each node has its own backup job running.
