Backup folder

I'm looking for a solution like this one too.

I have one master and one slave.

What I simply intend to do is to share the backup folder of the slave, and schedule backup jobs from the master to that slave.

This way, if anyhting goes wrong with the master, I's only a matter of recovering virtual machines on the slave and boot it.

Is this possible? If so, can anyone guide me through the steps for achieving this?
