Hi Guys, I am fairly new to proxmox but have a vast experience in computers and networking.
I found the proxmox server great, but I believe if people knew more about using fog server,
it would be a great companion to proxmox.
It appears a lot of people don't know about it but it is basically an imaging solution to taking images of either real or virtual machines.
The imaging solution is great once you have it working and you can image a pc in no time,
for example - on my network - all pcs are imaged to the Fog Server.
If I want to re-image a machine,
it is just a matter of booting it up off a usb stick and it will connect to the fog server,
it brings up a page and shows you the imaging process as it re-images your machine.
All controlled from a web site on your own server.

Anyway, this and Proxmox means I can have multiple virtual and real machines.
I image these to the Fog Server so when I get the config wrong or anything really,
it only takes about 10 minutes and I can have it back up from the image.
Anyway hopefuly this doesn't just sound like some ad for fog server as I think the two, Proxmox and Fog Server work great together.
With a large network and multiple machines, these two are my go to products.

Yes, please. We use fog for imaging our computer labs. We will be using PVE for a virtual computer lab soon.
