Backup failed ... curiosity

Vzdump can't complete the backup of an openvz VM.

Ok, the cause is an open console or a midnight panel in the VM three or ...
Is there a way/option/parameter/trick/... to force the backup (at my risk)?

Have a look at man vzdump & check out https://openvz.org/Backup_of_a_running_container_with_vzdump

You might have to use the --suspend or --stop option to force a VM shutdown to complete the backup.

I have read the docs (this and others, not all ;-) ) and done some tests.
--suspend doesn't works in this situation
--stop works, but I don't like it ;-)

vzdump is a nice script that does the work using various technics/tricks.
I am asking if there is a way to say it to force the backup without stop the VM also if there is the open console or something that normally block the process (that can became a --force / --noerror option).
