AWL score not showing on some messages

Any idea why I am not seeing any AWL score on some of the messages?

Example OK AWL:
X-SPAM-LEVEL: Spam detection results: 0
AWL -0.701 Adjusted score from AWL reputation of From: address
HTML_MESSAGE 0.001 HTML included in message
KAM_DMARC_STATUS 0.01 Test Rule for DKIM or SPF Failure with Strict Alignment
SPF_HELO_NONE 0.001 SPF: HELO does not publish an SPF Record
SPF_PASS -0.5 SPF: sender matches SPF record

Example NOT OK AWL:
X-SPAM-LEVEL: Spam detection results: 0
DKIM_SIGNED 0.1 Message has a DKIM or DK signature, not necessarily valid
DKIM_VALID -0.5 Message has at least one valid DKIM or DK signature
DKIM_VALID_AU -0.1 Message has a valid DKIM or DK signature from author's domain
DKIM_VALID_EF -0.1 Message has a valid DKIM or DK signature from envelope-from domain
HTML_MESSAGE 0.001 HTML included in message
SPF_HELO_PASS -0.001 SPF: HELO matches SPF record
SPF_PASS -0.5 SPF: sender matches SPF record


Also sometimes I see a high AWL score on completely valid (non spam) messages. How do you deal with this do you just do exception or something else?

Why it's not AWL score applied on all messages? Any help would be appreciated.

awl sometimes does mistrain - and then leads to worse detection rates - In that case it makes sense to remove the database and start freshly
(happens when you disable and enable the AWL feature in the PMG GUI) - alternatively try keeping it disabled - in my experience it does not help too much

a few ideas:
* maybe it's the first mail from that sender -> there is no score yet
* maybe the score is 0 (rounded) and thus does not create a hit

you can check the current contents of your awl database by running
`sa-awl`
