I created a script to automate the creation of VM's using cloud images and set a lot of things for the new VM. It only takes a matter of minutes to have a new VM spun up and ready to go. This script let's you pick the storage you are going to run the VM on and the storage for you snippets. It will also let you pick which node you want it to be on if you are in a cluster environment. It let's you pick the cloud image you want to use and if you don't have it, then it will download it for you.
It's also good to look at if you are new to using cloud images and snippets in Proxmox.
