I have a 2 node cluster that I am trying to add a 3rd node to.
The nodes are both running CEPH 16.2.6.
When I install CEPH on the new node after adding it to the cluster it goes to 16.2.9.

How can I install CEPH on the new node and make sure it stays on the 16.2.6 version?

Thanks

16.2.9 is latest CEPH Build available for Proxmox in 16.x Branch and should be stable to install on all Nodes.
It is also possible to have the new Node on newer Version without problems.
You can later Update the existing nodes also.

There is no way in the WebGui to install an older Version in the 16.2.x line. Maybe by CLI but I think this is not recommended....

grep all ceph packages (apt list --installed | grep -i ceph) and reinstall then manually, but why? whats so special about version 16.2.6? are newer version broken on your HW?

The nodes are both running CEPH 16.2.6.
update them.
