We are planning to migrate our vSphere infrastructure to Proxmox in the coming months.
We already have a test environment and some experience with Proxmox, but there are still questions regarding the hyperconverged part.
In particular, we are wondering what is the best way to leverage the disk topology used by vSAN OSA in a Ceph deployment. In our case, we have six 8TB NVMe Read Intensive drives and two 3TB NVMe Mixed Use drives.
If I understand correctly, with the BlueStore architecture there is no longer a journaling mechanism, so I’m unsure how to best utilize the Mixed Use drives.
