hi,

i installed pve 3.4 from the original iso image from proxmox.com. everything worked fine incl. web gui.

now after i added this machine over the internet to a fresh new pve cluster of another machine (which throwed some still unresolved "quorom" error), the apache seem to disappear. firefox & chrome hang up beeing "connected" to pve but receive no data.

/etc/hostname:
proxmox

/etc/hosts:
Code:
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
192.168.0.100 proxmox.xxx.de proxmox pvelocalhost
85.8.xx.xxx proxmox2.xxx.de proxmox2
# The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts

::1     ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
ff02::3 ip6-allhosts

although the web gui worked fine after fresh install there's no (more?) apache2 in /etc/init.d/ or found with "whereis apache2".

here's the "pveversion -v":

Code:
proxmox-ve-2.6.32: 3.4-156 (running kernel: 2.6.32-39-pve)
pve-manager: 3.4-6 (running version: 3.4-6/102d4547)

pve-cluster: 3.0-17
qemu-server: 3.4-6

vzquota: 3.1-2
pve-qemu-kvm: 2.2-10
ksm-control-daemon: 1.1-1
glusterfs-client: 3.5.2-1
i'm very thankful for any hints besides 'do a reinstall' ;)

just to note, apache2 is skipped since a long time, we have our own web server (pveproxy).

Thanks, Tom.

So what could be the problem with pveproxy connecting but not servicing requests over htps on port 8006?
