Anyone using proxmox with hostbill for location selection

Hi,
This is not a proxmox issue directly but was hoping if someone is using proxmox with hostbill can help. hostbill has great proxmox integration and I can connect app and provision vm just fine. But I can't find way to show multiple PVE servers (separate PVE servers, not in same cluster as they are from separate DC) for separate locations for customer to choose. Currently only way I can see create new product for each location but I want to do that on single product user can select multiple location. I have seen hosts using hostbill and on order page I can see multiple locations selection.

I use HostBill and there are mulitple way to manage everything!

Where have you setup your Location field?

Normally we create a parent category into HB: Like Cloud Computing

Subchild category by location:
Frankfurt,
Vienne
Paris


And on each subchild category you create you product!

Why on this way.... Because, into your product configuration, the nodes, the disk repository, the pool IP subnet, etc... all are different between different cluster nodes! So you have no possibility to have 1 product for all your locations! Sorry

You are correct, can do that way but that is not desirable. That would be lots of work if you have multiple locations.

You can ask to HB a custom dev about this but at my point of view it will be complicated because too much variable between cluster and risk of error and point of failure...

I wish not to pay more for custom dev but they should have worked think about this situation as I can see you can easily do similar thing with Groups in virtfusion and similar.

Depend the structure of the software!

VirtFusion have one console for managing multiple node like ProxMox with Cluster! But VirtFusion is management totally differently than ProxMox! So it's difficult to build a module on the same way!
