Anyone use softether vpn in a LXC?

hi,

i haven't tried it but it seems similar to openvpn, so it should work with some tweaking.

try following the same steps for openvpn (passing /dev/net/tun to container for example).

if you get stuck let us know here

I thank you.
I have installed yesterday, it works correctly but I have problem to create a new one virtual private network where to assign the VPN clients..
I can't create new Linux bridge and switch to open switch need to shutdown all vm and setup the network from 0 .

I need softether because allow transparent broadcast passing on the remote lan.

Hi openaspace, by working correctly do you mean you can run basic L2TP tunnels without turning on secureNAT?

i have been trying to do this for quite some time already but i totally cant get it to work at all. the TAP device is not getting any mac-address from the network and i have no idea how to troubleshoot the problem.

i guess the safest way to do is to build on VMs, not LXC. but unfortunately for me, i dont have much resources to play on VMs.
