Anyone running Proxmox 2.x on ext4 ? I need your help!

A week ago I posted a thread about problems I'm experiencing with quota on my PVE 2.3 test box running over ext4:

Unfortunately, the devs did not help me identifying the problem.
I'm not even sure it's caused by ext4... and I can't find out as I have no information about how the quota engine works, or where it logs errors.

If you are running Proxmox over ext4, please reply to this thread: create a small OpenVZ container and check if quota is working on it or not!

On 2.1 it certainly works. Haven't tried it on 2.3 yet, but might since there're some advantages (and disadvantages, too). You can try XFS which is also used by a lot of people for containers.
