Any reason to keep updating ceph-quincy if never used?

I have disabled updates for ceph-quincy since I will never be something that I will use:



Are there any ceph-quincy dependencies elsewhere in proxmox that could be negatively impacted by doing this?

In the past, people have had issues with updating Proxmox because they did not know that the Ceph repository is also required, so yes.

You disabled just the repository. AFAIK there are no ceph packages installed by default, so you will only save a few kb a day on each apt update.
