Check this thread, https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/how-to-lets-encrypt-and-pmg.41493/

The setup on a single server is easy enough but the problem comes when in a cluster setup since you will have to update the fingerprint

In post 10 of the same thread, I see a basic solution for a 2 node setup (https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/how-to-lets-encrypt-and-pmg.41493/post-246029)

For a small setup, this could work but as more nodes get added to the cluster it's not gonna work too well since you would have to manually add each additional node to that cronjob.

So is it safe to say the only way to have Letsencrypt to be fully automated is to way for Proxmox to release support for it?

Having a smoother way to support certificate changes (and in a separate step also Let's Encrypt) is on our internal Roadmap.
No promises when it will be done - but we're working on it.

I hope this helps!
