And disadvantages installing Centos as KVM not OpenVz?

Do you think then I should consider using Kernel 2.6.35
I think it's worth-while, for access to the KSM feature.
Relatively few issues are being reported with it AFAIK, and what does get reported seems to receive appropriate attention from the devs and is resolved.

Of course there's always the option to boot into another branch if need be- they don't take up much space.

One thing I cant be sure is. For example, I see version 1.8 is only for kernel 2.6.32 (as per update to latest version in wiki, I need to run "aptitude install proxmox-ve-2.6.32")? As long as I am stick with 2.6.35, do not I get updated version of proxmox 1.8? Or to get 1.8 of version, I need to run aptitude install proxmox-ve-2.6.35 ?

Thank you in advance.

Proxmox VE 1.8 works with 2.6.18, 2.6.32 and 2.6.35.
