So i've seen a few posts on this, and that as it currently stands containers are hard to back up quickly. Per my understanding the backup client has to scan the entire "disk" every time you want to make an incremental backup, unlike a vm where it has the dirty-bitmap. I have a container that takes over an hour for each incremental backup, but i have about 8VM's where all of them are backed up in about 3 minutes...
So while i like PBS, it's just not a viable option for me to use to backup containers. Does anyone have a solution for backing up containers that has worked for them? I'm also going to be migrating my ceph with my new build in the event this has any impact.
